The Risk Communication Lead, Harold Thomas took his own booster shot.

The COVID-19 booster shot has been approved for all frontline health care workers, persons aged 60 and above and people with co-mobilities in Sierra Leone. Earlier today, our Risk Communication Lead, Harold Thomas took his own booster shot.

“I am safe. I am returning to the office to continue my normal day’s work,” says Mr. Thomas shortly after receiving his shot at Youyi building, one of our static vaccination sites in Freetown.

If you are within the above priority groups, please visit any of the government referrals across the country for your own free booster shot. The COVID-19 booster shot is only given after six months of second dose of the vaccines.
