National Training-of-Trainers on the 3rd Edition Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR)

A Five Days (5) has come to on end 24th- 28th February 2020 on National Training-of-Trainers on the 3rd Edition Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) at the Atlantic Hotel Freetown, Sierra Leone.
The Training Course was adapted from WHO, AFRO, and CDC (2019) Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response Training Course,
Sierra Leone has been implementing Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response (IDSR) Strategy since 2004 when the First Edition of IDSR technical Guidelines was adapted from the generic technical guidelines of World Health Organization (WHO) AFOR region.
In 2015. Sierra Leone adopted the Second Edition of WHO IDSR technical guidelines (2010)
The Country has made great milestone in the implementation of IDSR and was the first Country in Africa to roll out electronic IDSR in all its Public Health Facilities in 2019.

Certificate was distributed by Dr. Mohamed Vandi and Charles Njuguna to the Participant at the end of the Program.
