Day Two of Lassa Simulation Exercise in Joru Chiefdom, Kenema District!

The momentum continues as One Health Sectors and partners including FOA empower frontline responders (community members) to detect and respond to potential Lassa fever outbreaks with funds from USAID, through the STOP Spillover project.

Day Two reinforces preparedness with early symptom recognition and reporting protocols, creating a robust defense against health threats. Interactive scenarios to test preparedness and response mechanisms, ensuring swift and coordinated actions at community and district level for minimal impact on public health.

Collaborating with community leaders, healthcare providers, and stakeholders, we tailor strategies to Joru Chiefdom’s unique needs.

Together, we cultivate resilience against Lassa fever and other health challenges.

Grateful for Joru Chiefdom’s enthusiastic participation, we strive for a safer, healthier future.

Stay tuned for the final day of the Lassa Simulation exercise. Building protection against infectious diseases!
