The 1st of December
2019, the National Aids Secretariat in Kenema District Eastern Region, in Collaboration with the Kenema DHMT and other partners like, Aids Health Care Foundation AHF, the Sierra Leone Red Cross Society, Network of People Living and Affect with HIVs/AIDS (NETIPs) and the Local Councils Commemorate World AIDS Day in Kenema District.
THE THEME FOR THIS YEAR, 2019:
“Communities Make the Difference to End AIDS in Sierra Leone”
was used as a talking points by key stakeholders.
The Event was preceeded by a Float-Parrade along main Hangs road and Patticipants later converged at the Kenema City Plaza.
Representatives from various institutions made meaningful contributions towards the fight against HIV/AIDS.
The Keynote Address was delivered by the Hon. Resident Minister,
Eastern Region
Mr. Andrew A. Fatorma.
The event was climaxed with a Promotion Song on Condom Use.
