Ministry of Health and Sanitation paid a farewell appreciation session in honour of Dr Tushia Singh , US CDC Country on behalf of the Government and the people of Sierra Leone, the entire ministry of health and Sanitation, the Chief Medical Officer Rev. Canon Dr. T.T. made a farewell statement to Dr. Tushia Singh.
This remarkable moment took place during the EPRRG Epi-Week 27 Meeting at the EOC Conference room1, Wilkinson Road Freetown.
A brief presentation was made by EPR Manager – Mukeh Fahnbulleh highlighting key activities pioneered by Dr. Tushia through the US- CDC funding most importantly thus: initiated and supported the country field Epidemiology training program. now, the country is now proud of (FETP) graduates.
Farewell messages were also made by the director, Health Security and Emergencies( DHSE) dr. Mohamed A. Vandi and also collegue partners Dr. Charles nguguna of the WHO.
A gift was presented to him, decorated with the country national cultural emblem to show case gratitute by the Chief Medical Officer and followed by group photo session by other senior staffs in the ministry. Dr. Tushia thanked the ministry and his colleague partners for working as a family.
The ceremony continued with the rountine weekly EPRRG Meeting Epi presentation which was chaired by Dr. Mohammed A. Vandi.
