The establishment of Districts Emergency Operations Center and the Composition of Command Center at districts level.
The National Task Force, as part of its nationwide 🇸🇱 tour to establish a central structure at district levels, has set up the structures in five (5) districts. namely:
Kambia, Port Loko, Bombali, Falaba, and Koinadugu.
The District Command Center is comprised of 13 key members who will be at the DEOC on a daily basis to discuss the daily activities hinged on fighting COVID-19 in the district.
The Chairman of the meetings has been the Hon. Minister of Local Government and Rural Development – Mr. Tamba Lamina.
The task force is composed of the Chairman, the Hon. Minister of Youth, ONS, RSLAF, SLP and a rep of the Chief Medical Officer – Dr. Kenneh.
The task force is on a seven-day country-wide tour which commenced on April 9th and end on Wednesday, 15th April 2020.
